English for Construction

The present course is part of the Vocational English series which has beens designed for students as well as for company employees in their training at work. It has been written by industry practitioners and thus combines a strong grammar with the specific vocabulary and proffessional skills. The Level 1 of English for Construction course is designed for students who have some basic knowledge of general English and now require an elementary course in their specific field. At the same time, Level 2 is intended to aim those students who have already completed Level 1 of this course or (have an elementary knowledge) and now require to pass the pre-intermediate course.

English for Construction combines a strong grammar syllabus with the specialist vocabulary students need to succeed in this area. It contains topics that reflect the latest developments in the field making it immediately relevant to students’ needs. The CD-ROM accompanying the book contains the course book audio and interactive glossaries.
