Provides the participant hold an appropriate certificate and are otherwise qualified in accordance with STCW 95, those successfully completing their course should thereby be enable to serve as master, chief engineer officer, chief mate, second engineer officer or take immediate responsibility for loading, discharging and care in transit or handling of cargo onboard liquefied gas tanker.
The course complies with the recommended special requirements for personnel on liquefied gas tankers as specified in STCW 95 Regulation V/1, paragraph 2.2, except fire-fighting course ref. STCW 95 Regulation V/1-1.
